Dementia Caregiver Interview Study

Purpose

The University of Florida is seeking adult child and spousal caregivers of people living with dementia, such as Alzheimer disease, Lewy body dementia, stroke-related dementia, or frontotemporal dementia, to participate in an interview about their caregiving experiences and support needs. This research study is conducted by Dr. Carla L. Fisher, Dr. Carma Bylund, and Dr. Melissa Armstrong and is approved by the UF IRB (ET00021681).

Eligibility

Adults who:

  • are caring for a parent or spouse, living or deceased, diagnosed with dementia within the last 10 years,
  • reside in Florida, and
  • are English-speaking.

Procedures

Interviews can be held over the phone or on Zoom and are estimated to take approximately 1 hour. To compensate you for your time and participation, participants who are eligible and complete the interview will receive a $50 gift card.
